"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
There are certain priorities that a person must make in life, some people list their jobs or family at the top of their hierarchy of values.
Recent Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow recently said that the most important things in his life are: 1) His personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 2) His family. 3) His scholastic studies at Florida State and finally, 4) Playing College Football.
For me, there are certain priorities in my life that govern all that I say and do. Thus, as I commence the start of a new blog, I want to state for the record that my top priorities in life are as follows:
1) My Evangelical Christian Faith and My Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ. I am an Evangelical, Bible Believing, Gospel Preaching Born Again Christian and I will not compromise one tenet of my Conservative Evangelicalism for political expediency or to appease the dictates of another's conscience. The exclusive authority that drives my life is a literal interpretation of the Bible, which I believe alone is the inspired, infallible, inerrant and self-authenticating Word of Almighty God.
I believe with all my heart and with every fabric of my being in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is Almighty God in Human flesh and that He died on the Cross and rose again triumphantly from the grave and now offers eternal life to all who sincerely repent of their sins and place their faith in Christ, calling on His great name. While this blog will concern issues and topics concerning American Politics, Evangelical Christianity and latest news items, it will always be written from the perspective of historic Evangelical Christianity with roots in the Protestant Reformation.
I am Reformed in my soteriology, Pre-Millenial and Pre-Tribulational in my eschatology and I very much believe in the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, who said in His sacred Word, " Go Ye into All the World and Preach the Gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). I am a born-again, blood bought, Evangelical Christian who is waiting for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. "Even so come Lord Jesus!" I am staunchly pr0-life, pro-family, pro-America, pro-Military, pro-Republican Party. I am an unabashed Conservative, Capitalist, Calvinist, Evangelical Christian, who honors my family, I love my father, sisters, brothers and honor the memory of my mother who died in 1990. I love my friends very much and have much respect for Calvary Chapel Saving Grace, Sovereign Grace / DC Fellowship and Living Waters Ministry which has nurtured me and help me accountable in my Christian faith for many years. I am a sinner saved by the sovereign grace of God and above all I thank God almighty for saving me from myself and the grotesque depravity of my utter sinfulness before almighty God. Thank You God for Saving my Soul!
2) The New York Yankees are my favorite Baseball Team and I will never deny the Yankee Nation.
3) I am a true blue University of Michigan Football fanatic and I will always root for our world domination and the complete and utter destruction of the overrated Ohio States Buckeyes.
4) I am a Los Angeles Laker fan as well.
5) I am a Conservative Pro-Life Republican that is beholden to no one but God and His Son Jesus Christ.
Thus in a nut shell, my priorities are: 1) Jesus Christ 2) My Church 3) My Family 4) My Friends 5) Pro-Life issues 6) Sound Evangelical Christian theology and preaching 7) The Gospel of Jesus Christ here and on the missions field. 8) The New York Yankees 9) The Michigan Wolverines 10) The Los Angeles Lakers. My heroes in life are: Jesus Christ, My father Tom Enochs, My Great Uncle Shelby, My Sister Debbie, Annie Hammer, Saint Augustine, Martin Luther, John Calvin, Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, John Piper, Billy Graham, John MacArthur, Ronald Reagan, Al Mohler Jr, Keith Green, Cornelius Van Til and Greg Bahnsen.
"That in all things Jesus Christ might have the Preeminence."
(Colossians 1:18)
